John Chantarasak and Irish beef launch summer guest chef ‘AngloThai With Friends’ series

Following the success of last year's sell-out ‘AngloThai With Friends’ guest chef series at The Dairy (Clapham Common) John Chantarasak and grass-fed Irish beef are excited to welcome another set of guest chefs to the AngloThai summer pop-up at Newcomer Wines in Dalston for a selection of Sunday collaboration events including:

2nd August - Tom Brown (Cornerstone)
9th August - Brad Carter (Carter’s of Moseley, Birmingham)
16th August - Lee Westcott (Formerly Pensons/Typing Room)
23rd August - Ronnie Aronica (Bench, Sheffield)
13th September - Anaïs Ca Dao Van Manen (Bao/Daikon Rush)
20th September - Sam Grainger (Belzan, Liverpool)
27th September - James Cochran (12:51)
4th October - Nud Dudhia (Breddos)

The collective of chefs will create innovative dishes that feature grass-fed Irish beef cuts across the series of menus. Guest chefs will create eclectic menus that showcase their style of cooking with flourishes of John’s signature AngloThai flavours and ethos throughout. 12 diners across two sittings will be treated to five-courses of full flavoured delights that span multiple cuisines, with each guest chef set-menu priced at £50 per person.

In addition to the set-menu, Desiree Chantarasak will work with each respective restaurant to devise an eclectic selection of Austrian focused natural wines from the Newcomer Wines cellar. Including back vintages and new arrivals from celebrated winemakers such as Christian Tschida, Claus Preisinger, Matassa and many more.

“We’re super excited to host a second series of ‘AngloThai With Friends’ at our Newcomer Wines summer residency. Our passion for community has never been more important and we’re thrilled to invite a collection of our closest friends to cook with us. We’ve partnered with grass-fed Irish beef to bring our second series of ‘AngloThai With Friends’ to diners this summer. They've been huge supporters of AngloThai and have given us the freedom and support to bring amazingly exciting collaborative events like this to our guests” - John Chantarasak, co-founder of AngloThai

John and Desiree will donate a portion of ticket sales for ‘AngloThai With Friends’ at Newcomer Wines to For Life Thailand. A non-profit charity that supports disabled children’s families in Thailand and the couple are charity ambassadors for.
