The Staff Canteen

This year Michelin-starred chefs including Tom Kerridge, Clare Smyth, Sat Bains and Rick Stein will be attending Cornwall's largest food festival, Padstow Christmas Festival.

This year the event will take place between December 1 - 4 with Nathan Outlaw, who's eponymous restaurant in Rock holds two stars in the Michelin Guide UK, opening the festival with a demo in the Sharp’s Chefs Theatre. Other big names including Tom Kerridge, Clare Smyth, Sat Bains and Rick Stein will also take to the theatre and festival stage marquees during the four day event.

In addition to the chef demos visitors can also enjoy the Christmas market with over 100 artisan food, drink and crafts producers as well as a fireworks display Santa parade and live music.

Tina Evans, festival organiser, said: “There is something for everyone at this year’s festival. We are looking forward to welcoming Father Christmas back to Padstow, who will be arriving on Friday evening. Children can enjoy a visit to see him in his grotto where he can be found over the weekend.”

Other chefs set to attend the festival include Jose Pizarro, Angela Hartnett, Nieves Barragan Mohacho, Paul Ainsworth and Tom Adams.
