Michelin-starred chefs to join forces for HUMO charity lunch

The Staff Canteen

Michelin-starred wood-fired restaurant HUMO are set to host their winter charity lunch on Sunday, December 1.

In support of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), Mayfair’s HUMO will see some of the best Michelin-starred chefs come together for an afternoon of cooking.

HUMO’s executive chef Miller Prada, Marco Zampese of three Michelin-starred Hélène Darroze at The Connaught, Lisa Goodwin-Allen of Michelin-starred Northcote, Anthony Genovese of two Michelin-star Ristorante Il Pagliaccio in Italy and Jonny Lake of the two Michelin-starred Trivet will join forces, alongside celebrated pastry chef Ravneet Gill, who will each prepare a dish in their unique and characteristic styles.

Drinks for the afternoon have been curated by Agostino Perrone, the award-winning director of mixology from The Connaught Bar and Lucas Reynaud-Paligot, head sommelier at Hélène Darroze at The Connaught, who has hand-picked a selection of wines to enhance each dish, bringing the very best in dining and wine pairing.

In collaboration with Ruinart and Glenmorangie, the afternoon will give guests the opportunity to see some of the world’s most exciting chefs cooking side by side to raise money for GOSH Charity, which raises vital funds for seriously ill children at GOSH.

The money raised this festive season will help bring joy to children and their families at the hospital, whether through carol singing or Santa visits, and will enable the charity to fund services like free accommodation so families can spend precious time together. Donations will also help pave the way for more breakthrough treatments and cures for the rarest and most complex conditions, so children can look forward to many more Christmases to come.

Of the collaboration, HUMO’s Miller said: "It is a real joy to work with some of my favourite chefs on this lunch, especially in support of such a fantastic charity. I’ve admired these chefs for many years and to be able to welcome them into my restaurant to cook alongside me is a real honour - we’re going to put on a real show for our guests and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to join us for such a special evening.”

The winter charity lunch at HUMO will take place from 12pm, with tickets available for £250.
