Las Iguanas introduce three new restaurants

The Staff Canteen
Restaurant chain Las Iguanas have opened three new restaurants across the UK, just in time for Christmas. After benefiting from increased business during last summer’s Olympic Games, the Latin American group have now been able to add establishments at Designer Outlet in Wembley, Cribbs Causeway in Bristol and Queen Street in Exeter. The move comes about following an overall Group sales growth of 18% in the six months to September, up 8.5% on the same period last year following the success achieved thanks to London 2012. Delivering on their simple ethos to provide South America to every table, every day, the aim is to make Las Iguanas ‘the place to be’. At each and every Las Iguanas, everything begins and ends with their passion for food. The freshest, highest quality ingredients from the best British suppliers and carefully sourced authentic produce from around the world are combined by talented chefs to create delicious Latin American specialities. The type of food on offer ranges from chilli con carne or home-style burritos to calamari or ‘blazing bird’, a spicy chicken cooked in barbecue sauce. Desserts include chocolate fudge cake or a Latin American favourite, churros. Although every Las Iguanas is unique from a design point of view, the inspiration is always that as soon as you open the doors, you are instantly immersed in the colour, chaos and charm of Latin America. The new openings take the tally of Las Iguanas in the UK to 33, stretching right the way from Aberdeen down to Plymouth.
