The Hospitality Show is returning to the Birmingham NEC next year for three days in January. The event takes place from 19th to 21st January 2015 and is the UK’s largest tradeshow for the hospitality sector.
The show consistently attracts high quality exhibitors and special guests from across the hospitality spectrum and its focuses include hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafes, delis, careers and the cost sector. It's also a chance to showcase cutting edge products and services from the fields of food and drink, technology, catering equipment, interiors and tableware.
The heart of the show floor this year will be the Business Briefing stage, which will play host to laser guided insight, debate and discussion on the latest topics and trends making the headlines around British hospitality. Returning this year will be the prestigious culinary competition Salon Culinaire, which, as well as its Live Theatre classes, will include the Salon Display, showcasing hand-crafted works in fat, chocolate, marzipan and other foodstuffs, and Le Parade des Chefs, where a team of chefs will be providing a real-time lunch service for 100 covers in a fully-operational restaurant.
Also returning for its third successive appearance is the Business Mentor scheme, which sees some of the most respected names in the hospitality industry on hand to pass on targeted business advice. Following engaging panel discussions, they will be offering free bookable one-to-one mentoring sessions. Other returning attractions include the HOSPACE Hub which will be offering an informative seminar programme encompassing the latest technology trends. Making its debut at this year’s Hospitality Show is the Laverstoke Park Farm Taste Experience.
This Hampshire-based organic and biodynamic farm was set up by former F1 world champion Jody Scheckter and will be showcasing its produce across the three days. Available to sample will be their renowned mozzarella made from fresh buffalo milk, buffalo fillet steaks, award-winning lamb, tasty black pudding and their new buffalo Gouda. Jody said he is ‘delighted’ to be bringing his farm to the show, and is proud to be a part of it. The show will also be the year’s largest showcase for the latest catering equipment suppliers, with the CESA (Catering Equipment Suppliers Association) Innovation Zone, where visitors will be able to find the most relevant and up-to-date products the industry has to offer.,
Toby Wand, Managing Director of Fresh Montgomery, the show’s organiser, said: “We’re tremendously excited to welcome people from all corners of the UK to our doors. I urge anyone looking for that spark of inspiration to take time out and experience the most relevant, business-focused trade show in the hospitality calendar.”
