El Celler de Can Roca To Play Host To The Featured Chef Series

The Staff Canteen
The Staff Canteen, the UK's leading Chef networking site, is delighted to announce that we are visiting one of the world's best restaurants as part of our featured chef series in September for what will be a double video Featured Chef for November and December 2012. The three Michelin star Spanish restaurant, currently number two in the World's 50 best restaurants,  El Celler de Can Roca situated just outside Girona Spain, has become a gastronomic heavyweight on the world's culinary stage and represents a huge privilege to be invited in to film with them. We arrive in Spain on 25th September with the team from Hospitality Media, we must at this point thank L'Enclume Head Chef and Roux Scholar Mark Birchall for his help in securing this feature. The first video will be a very food lead overview showing a range of food from each section of the operation, a fly on the wall approach from El Celler de Can Roca Kitchens and restaurant, and therefore not to be missed The second video in keeping with tradition will feature the Roca brothers as they create one of the restaurant award winning dishes outlining their skills and techniques used to create the restaurant dish. Mark Morris, Managing Director of The Staff Canteen, said "I hope this shows the level of Chef that The Staff Canteen is now attracting and follows on from our huge success with Rene Redzepi, Mr Raymond Blanc and Alain Roux in 2011 and is part of our on-going quest to widen our reach of Chefs on the global stage" To date the Featured Chef series has captured over 32 of the world’s leading Chefs and operations  in 33 videos which began with Scotland's only two Michelin star Chef Andrew Fairlie and is now widely recognised as the pinnacle feature for Chefs and a huge part in the continued success of The Staff Canteen and our social channels generating in excess of 303,000 YouTube views to date.
