Great British Menu 2016 returned to BBC2 as the Great British Menu chefs battle to show off their culinary skills and recipes at a banquet in the dining room of the House of Commons, London to celebrate the "Great Britons".

The four chefs who made it to the Great British Menu 2016 banquet were: Mark Abbott from Daniel Clifford's Midsummer House which holds two stars in the Michelin Guide UK, cooked the starter, "Ordinary To Extraordinary". The fish course, "Preserving The Future", was served by Tommy Banks from Michelin-starred the Black Swan at Oldstead. The main course by Mark Froydenlund from Marcus Wareing's Michelin-starred London restaurant was "A Celebration Of Rose Veal". And the dessert was by Adam Reid from Adam Reid at The French, he served the "Golden Empire".
