Great British Menu 2014 returned to BBC2 as the Great British Menu chefs battle to show off their culinary skills and recipes at a banquet hosted for people who fought on D-Day of which it is the 70th anniversary in 2014.
The banquet was broadcast on 6 June, exactly 70 years to the day after D-Day commenced and it was held at St. Paul's Cathedral.

The veteran judges for Great British Menu 2014 were: Tom Kerridge assisted by Marcus Wareing, Daniel Clifford, Sat Bains, Richard Corrigan, Phil Howard, Jeremy Lee and Angela Hartnett.
The four chefs who made it to the Great British Menu 2014 banquet
The four chefs who made it to the Great British Menu 2014 banquet were: Adam Simmonds, chef owner of The Test Kitchen served the starter, "Your Share". The fish course was by Emily Watkins, chef proprietor of the Kingham Plough, "We Shall Fight Them On The Beaches". Main Course came from James Durrant executive chef at the Stafford London who serevd "Blitz Spirit". And finally dessert by Colin McGurran chef patron of Winteringham Fields, "Homage To The Dickin Medal".
