The Restaurant

The restaurant spans multiple floors, with the ground level offering a vibrant atmosphere around an open kitchen and a counter bar made from English elm. Below, a basement bar provides a more intimate setting, featuring classic cocktails, a selection of vermouths, and wines curated by the Noble Rot team, Keeling and Andrew.

The culinary experience at Mountain reflects a deep appreciation for natural flavours, emphasised by cooking over open flames and a wood-fired oven. The menu is designed for sharing, featuring an array of dishes that range from simple yet exquisite snacks like sweet raw red prawns paired with house-made stracciatella, to larger, communal offerings such as whole lobster caldereta suitable for groups. Signature dishes include whole pink bream cooked over coals, wood-fired rice, smoked potatoes, and lamb chops, all prepared with a distinctive touch of Iberian flair.

Ingredients are thoughtfully sourced, with a focus on local produce from Welsh and Cornish fishermen and farmers, and select items like sobrasada brought directly from an organic farm in Mallorca. The dessert menu continues to highlight Parry’s commitment to culinary excellence, featuring treats like almond tart and ensaimadas, a sweet pastry from Mallorca.
