Lockhart Catering Equipment Partners with Skeppshult to Offer Customers Premium Cast Iron Cookware

Lockhart Catering Equipment has expanded its kitchen equipment portfolio by adding a range of Skeppshult cast iron cookware products.

Crafting hand-forged cookware since 1906, Skeppshult’s products are made entirely from natural iron, are 100% recyclable, and improve over time with each use. Lockhart customers will have access to Skeppshult’s Original, Professional, Gratin, Casserole, and Jarn ranges, all of which are compatible with any cooking medium and heat level – from hobs and induction to ovens and open fires.

Simon Britten, Head of Marketing at Lockhart Catering Equipment is excited about the new brand:
“We’re delighted to be bringing Skeppshult into the fold to offer our customers high-quality, authentic cast iron cookware. The diverse products in their range ensure there’s something to suit every kitchen.”

Skeppshult’s Original range features a variety of sizes in a series of traditional, seamless cast iron pans. Similarly, the Professional range is available in 20-28cm with various depths tailored to purposes, and benefit from a self-ventilating, punctured stainless-steel handle for optimal heat dispersion. This is ideal when using on a hob but remains oven-proof for broiling and baking dishes. The Gratin-style cookware features double handles which make them ideal for baking and serving directly, so chefs don’t have to worry about disturbing their presentation. Likewise, the Casserole selection has been designed with baking in mind and are also available with matching cast iron or glass lids. Finally, the Jarn range offers chefs a more playful design, with hexagon shapes sure to elevate any spread.
