Jonny Lake and Isa Bal to Reopen Trivet on 4 July

London, 1 July 2020 — Jonny Lake and Isa Bal are excited to announce that they will reopen Trivet on 4 July. Trivet will initially open just the Wine Bar, serving exceptional snacks, small plates, main dishes, and desserts in the main dining room of the restaurant, as well as in the new outdoor seating area. The Wine Bar will be open Wednesday-Saturday from 12:00-21:00. For bookings and more information, please visit www.trivetrestaurant.co.uk or call 0203 141 8670.

Trivet Wine Bar will feature a few of the snacks and dishes from Trivet’s original bar menu, as well new items including a smoked duck salad, lobster on the grill, and a summer version of Trivet’s beloved Chicken with a Vinegar Sauce. Isa’s extensive wine list and wines by the glass will be available, as well as a bespoke list of sakes, whiskies and spirits. Open for less than five months before lockdown, Lake and Bal hope to reopen the full restaurant at Trivet when feasible.

“We are so excited to be re-opening our doors at Trivet, but as a new and independent restaurant, we would not be able to reopen without the amazing support we have received from our suppliers, staff, customers and neighbours,” says Jonny Lake. “Wine bars have always been very special to Isa and me, which is why it was a big part of the original concept for Trivet as a kitchen, bar and cellar. We have always wanted Trivet to be a friendly, welcoming neighbourhood place where people can connect for a meal or a drink, and we can’t wait to get started!”

Since closure, the team at Trivet has opened Trivet Coffee and Bakery, launched the online Trivet Shop featuring a specially selected range of Trivet wines and glassware curated by Master Sommelier Isa Bal, Trivet Experiences, and Trivet at Home, a weekly 3 course set menu available for pick-up or delivery from the restaurant. These will all continue to operate and details can be found on the website.
