Champagne Lanson hosts first exclusive pop-up event with Paula Pastry in celebration of The Championships, Wimbledon

In a celebration of tennis and culinary artistry, Champagne Lanson has partnered with Paula Stakelum, better known as Paula Pastry, to announce an exclusive two-week pop-up event at The Leopard Room, The Rubens at the Palace, from July 1st – July 14th, 2024.

The perfect tribute to the iconic Wimbledon strawberries and cream, customers can indulge in the limited-edition ‘Sweet Serve Tennis’ dessert – featuring a strawberry and cream tart decorated with Valrhona ‘Opalys’ velvety white chocolate and served with a glass of Champagne Lanson Le Rosé Création 67 for £36.

Pairing beautifully with sweet treats, Le Rosé Création is a truly versatile cuvée with subtle floral and fruity notes of strawberry, redcurrant and pomelo. Made from a 2019 base harvest of grapes from 27 Grand and Premier Crus villages throughout Champagne, Le Rosé Création 67 contains 52% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay and 14% Meunier alongside 29% reserve wine. Le Rosé Création 67, refers to the 67th elaboration of this iconic non-vintage rosé by Maison Lanson.

Paula Stakelum, Paula Pastry says: “I'm incredibly proud to partner with Champagne Lanson as an official sponsor of Wimbledon 2024. It's an honor to be associated with such a prestigious event, celebrating the pinnacle of tennis excellence. We're also thrilled to present a special tennis dessert that embodies the spirit of being British and pairs perfectly with Lanson's exquisite Le Rosé Création 67.”

The pop-up event is open from 1st – 14th July at The Leopard Room, The Rubens Hotel, London.
