Harlech Foodservice Development Kitchen - Developed With You in Mind

New for 2017 is our state of the art development kitchen, developed with our customers in mind.

Located at our HQ in Llanystumdwy the Harlech Foodservice development kitchen has been fitted with the latest technology and equipment including dehydrators, a sous vide and water bath, an induction hob, a Thermomix and a state of the art Unox oven. The kitchen is overseen by our in-house development chef, Steve Williams, who has a wealth of experience within the catering and hospitality trade.

Developed with our valued customers in mind the kitchen can be used to introduce you to new suppliers, new products and new techniques. We’ve already held a number of innovation days, welcoming existing customers to the kitchen to meet suppliers, try out novel cooking techniques and sample new products.

We can help with both menu development and training with the kitchen available for product demonstrations and tasting sessions. Come and sample products hand-picked for your establishment and consult with Steve about new ideas or a whole new direction for your menu; he is happy to give advice and demonstrate new dishes and techniques to your kitchen team. We can accommodate up to 12 people for product demos and tastings and are also happy to hold wine tastings with wines selected to suit your menu.

We can showcase any product within the Harlech Foodservice range and discuss options from our extensive network of suppliers. If we don’t currently stock a product you want we’re happy to source new suppliers and more exotic ingredients on request.

Steve is also an ambassador in the UK for Sosa Ingredients and can give your staff training on using Sosa within your menus, demonstrating on-trend presentation and showing you the latest techniques used in some of the country’s most innovative kitchens.

For our larger accounts we also offer exclusive, private use of the development kitchen. Book a day with us and you can have exclusive use of the kitchen to trial new products and methods with Steve on hand to offer help and advice.
