20 STORIES ANNOUNCES BLACKOUT DINNER

The event will take place on Sunday 27th October with an exclusive menu from Executive Head Chef, Daniel Scott

20 Stories restaurant, located 19 floors above the city of Manchester at No 1 Spinningfields, has announced it will hold a “Blackout Dinner” on Sunday 27th October. The event, with an exclusive four-course menu created by Executive Head Chef, Daniel Scott, is set to provide diners with a sensory journey through taste, touch and sound.

Guests will be plunged into complete darkness, with thousands of candles and the surrounding landscape as the only source of light.
D&D London will be switching the lights off in three of their restaurants and three cities at the same time with the event taking place at 20 Stories in Manchester, Orelle in Birmingham and Madison in London.

The four-course menu, which will be served between 5.30pm - 9pm is priced at £80 per person. Diners can also opt for a VIP window table at £120 per person and receive a glass of bubbles upon arrival.

The menu showcases dishes such as:
Arrival Canapés

Chapter I

Goats curd, chicory, celery, pear & walnut

Chapter II

Seared grey mullet, caramelised cauliflower, apple, pickled mussel & herb vinaigrette

Chapter III

Treacle cured fillet of beef, potato terrine, red wine shallot purée, trompette, beef sauce

Chapter IV

Passion fruit & mango Eton mess
