After looking at the most followed food bloggers we've had a look to find the most followed chefs on Twitter (as true from date of publication) from around the world.
Jamie Oliver is a British celebrity chef, restaurateur, media personality who is known for his food-focused television shows, cookbooks and global campaign for better food education. He has inspired people to spend more time enjoying being in the kitchen and even start growing their own food. Known originally as The Naked Chef, he strives to improve unhealthy diets and poor cooking habits in the United Kingdom and internationally through promoting better food education for adults and children, particularly in schools.
Anthony Bourdain- 1,840,650
Anthony Bourdain is an American chef, author, and television personality. He travels the world seeking the authentic experiences and food that flavour the world's cultures. He is known for his 2000 book Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly. He also hosted, in 2005, the Travel Channel's culinary and cultural adventure programs Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations and The Layover. Then in 2013 hosted Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. Though Bourdain is no longer officially employed as a chef, he maintains a relationship with Brasserie Les Halles in New York, where he was executive chef for many years.
Gordon Ramsay is a celebrity chef, restaurateur, and television personality. Ramsay is known for presenting TV programmes about competitive cookery and food, such as the British series Hell's Kitchen, The F Word, and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. He has also presented the American versions of Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, MasterChef, and Masterchef Junior. He is also a published author of a number of books, many of which have become bestsellers around the world, most notably his autobiography, Roasting in Hell’s Kitchen. Ramsay received an OBE (Order of the British Empire awarded by Queen Elizabeth II) in 2006 for services to the industry.

Rachael Ray is an American television personality, businesswoman, celebrity chef and author. She hosts the daily talk and lifestyle program Rachael Ray, and three Food Network series, 30 Minute Meals, Rachael Ray's Tasty Travels and $40 a Day. Ray has also written cookbooks based on the 30 Minute Meals concept, and launched a magazine, Every Day with Rachael Ray, in 2006. Ray's television shows have won three Daytime Emmy Awards. She has also established Yum-O!, a non-profit organization, to educate young people and their families about the importance of good nutrition and to help feed American children in need.
Paula Deen is an American celebrity chef and cooking show television host. Deen started her career with her business, The Bag Lady, going on to open her first restaurant, The Lady and Sons, five years later. Deen still owns and operates The Lady & Sons restaurant, in Savannah, Georgia, with her sons, Jamie and Bobby Deen. She has had programs on the Food Network such as "Paula's Home Cooking" and "Paula's Party”. She has also published fourteen cookbooks, her first The Lady and Sons Savannah Country Cookbook.

Guy Fieri is a television personality working for Food Network. An American restaurateur, author, television personality, and game show host, he also co-owns five restaurants in California. He is known for his television series on the Food Network, which by y mid-2010, had made him the "face of the network." In 2010, the New York Times reported that Fieri brought an "element of rowdy, mass-market culture to American food television," and that his "prime-time shows attract more male viewers than any others on the network. In 2009, Fieri merged his love of food and music to create the Guy Fieri Roadshow. This tour featured a DJ, drinks and cooking demonstrations. He has also written several books, including 2011's Guy Fieri Food: More Than 150 Off-The-Hook Recipes.
Bobby Flay is an American celebrity chef, restaurateur and reality television personality. He is the owner and executive chef of several restaurants: Mesa Grill in Las Vegas and the Bahamas; Bar Americain in New York and Uncasville, CT; Bobby Flay Steak in Atlantic City and Bobby's Burger Palace in eighteen locations across eleven states. He has hosted several Food Network shows, such as Grill It! With Bobby Flay and Throwdown With Bobby Flay, and also appeared in dozens of other specials. Flay is featured on the Great Chefs television series.

Giada Laurentiis is an Italian-born American chef, writer, television personality, and the host of the current Food Network television program Giada at Home. She also appears regularly as a contributor and guest co-host on NBC's Today. De Laurentiis is the founder of the catering business GDL Foods. She is a winner of the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle Host, and in 2012 was inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame. De Laurentiis' first book was "Everyday Italian," but since then she has published numerous other books such as "Giada's Family Dinners," and "Weeknights with Giada."
Andrew Scott Zimmern is an American television personality, chef, food writer, and teacher. He is the co-creator, host, and consulting producer of the Travel Channel series Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Bizarre Foods America and Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre World. He was presented with the James Beard Foundation Award in 2010 and another in 2013 for his work on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. Zimmern partnered with General Mills to host “The Munchies: People’s Choice Food Awards,” a national food awards ceremony that lives online and celebrates the most deserving people in the culinary world. He also hosts the show Dining with Death, which discusses some of the foods that could cause death.

A regional James Beard Award winner, he known for his Food Network shows Emeril Live and Essence of Emeril, as well as catchphrases such as, "Kick it up a notch!" and "Bam!". Lagasse's portfolio of media, products, and restaurants generates an estimated US$150 million annually in revenue. Lagasse is the author of 18 bestselling cookbooks including his first, Emeril's New New Orleans Cooking, which introduced his creative take on Creole cuisine and his latest cookbook, Cooking with Power.
