This January, iconic department store Harrods welcomes the last multi-Michelin starred Italian restaurant to its in-store pop-up concept, Stelle di Stelle, this month is the turn of legendary 3 Michelin starred Enrico Crippa.
For the closing month of Stelle di Stelle’s residency at Harrods Enrico Crippa’s three Michelin starred restaurant ‘Piazza Duomo’ can be enjoyed up until January 31st.
Born in Carate Brianza in 1971, in the north of Milan, Enrico Crippa is a rising star among a youthful generation of Italian chefs pushing the boundaries of Italian cuisine. Crippa’s career so far includes working alongside some of Europe’s most celebrated chefs – including Ferran Adrià, Michel Bras, and Antoine Westermann - and a spell cooking for Italian maestro Gualtiero Marchesi in Japan that directly influences his inventive cooking style. In 2005, Crippa opened Ristorante Piazza Duomo in Alba, where his respect for gastronomic tradition combined with a creative talent has earned him the ultimate acknowledgement of three Michelin stars.

Piazzo Duomo restaurant is a result of the collaboration between chef Enrico Crippa and the highly influential Piedmontese Ceretto family, who produce much of the region’s finest ingredients.
Piazza Duomo serves a wonderful array of raw ingredients carefully selected from the restaurant’s very own vegetable garden that encompasses an impressive 5 hectares of land. Ensuring that guests receive only the finest Italian produce, combined with Crippa’s skilful cooking and inventive presentation, has led to Piazza Duomo being featured on the list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants at Number 39.
Piazza Duomo’s five-course menu at Harrods will feature:
- Veal in tuna sauce – a take on an Italian classic
- Alta Langa potato cream with quail egg and lapsang souchong
- Agnolotti del Plin stuffed with three roasts, served with roast meat juices
- Fassona beef braised with Barolo and polenta
- ‘Relanghe’ hazlenut cake and cold zabaglione with Moscato wine
