David Muñoz to open new London restaurant in the summer

Three Michelin-starred chef David Muñoz is set to bring his new restaurant, StreetXo, to London in June.  This will be the first restaurant David has opened outside of his native Spain following the success of DiverXo as he returns to the city which inspired his cooking. Three-star Michelin chef opens first UAE outlet

Three-star Michelin chef and author Heinz Beck has opened the New York-inspired 'Social by Heinz Beck' at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah.  Beck's latest venture at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah will offer a wide range of creatively adapted foodie favourites – served with a hallmark Beck twist – as well as signature dishes including grilled tuna with wasabi mayonnaise, almonds and amaretti to start and soya poached beef fillet with black truffle and radicchio stuffed for mains. Tom Kerridge's Hand & Flowers crowned UK's top gastropub for third consecutive year

Winner of the 2014 Game Chef of the Year competition announced

Tom Van Zeller of Van Zeller Restaurants has won Braehead Food’s Game Chef of the Year competition, sponsored by The Staff Canteen.  The 37-year-old chef-patron of Van Zeller Restaurants in Harrogate won the competition created by game supplier, Braehead Foods, to produce the best two courses using game, with his wigeon and loin of hare recipes.
