UBChef menus change weekly and you have four weeks of advance menus to choose from with added extras including bread and a cheese selection. Robert also produces a weekly video where he talks you through the steps for completing your dishes and there are also step by step instructions in the menu booklet which accompanies the food.


Robert says, ‘At the start of lockdown, I realised that in order for the restaurant to survive, I needed to develop another way of guests dining with us but without coming to the restaurant. We decided that we could still provide an excellent dining experience and deliver it to guest’s doors for them to complete themselves and present to their friends and family – and so the ‘You Be Chef’ concept was born. It proved hugely popular and people really enjoyed the experience of producing restaurant food without having to start from scratch.
