Promoting the Pastry World Cup

I'm helping to promote the Pastry World Cup (Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie) in both catering circles and to the wider general public and to this end I have created a pinterest board
uk.pinterest.com/chefkevinashton/coupe-du-monde-de-la-p%C3%A2tisserie-pastry-world-cup/

Which is a place were you can view both official photographs and video clips from the contest in one place. I also make a point of labelling and discribing each photo so that both chefs and the general public get a better understanding of what this competition is all about. I first attended the competition in 2009 as a writer and have been hooked on the contest ever since.

Equally, I am amazed that after 26 years how little known the contest is outside of culinary circles.
With the help of everyone here I am hoping to change that and get the event onto UK TV (as it is in France).
This year the One show did a very brief magazine style news report but I'd like to see the beeb do more.

I do add additional photos and videos to my pinterest board from time to time so please stop by often.
*The photo is of course Captain Hook and made by the winning Italian team from pulled sugar. To see the complete display go to my pinterest board.
