MasterChef: The Professionals 2018 semi-finalist Michelle Trusselle named executive head chef at 30 Euston Square

Award-winning conference and events venue, 30 Euston Square, announces the appointment of new Executive Chef Michelle Trusselle. Boasting a rich and diverse culinary background and a semi-finalist in 2018’s ‘MasterChef: The Professionals’, Michelle joins the team at the award winning, Grade II-listed venue.

Joining Searcys team at 30 Euston Square late last year, Trusselle led the kitchen through its busy Christmas period and has begun extensive menu development across the venue, from canapés to fine dining dinners.

Bringing her own creative flair, new menus will focus on elevating the best of seasonal, sustainable British produce with modern cooking techniques while taking inspiration from flavours and spices from the Caribbean, Middle East, India and East Asia.

Her culinary journey began at the acclaimed Westminster Culinary Arts College at the age of 16. With an impressive CV spanning fifteen years within the industry, Trusselle has trained and worked in some of the most celebrated kitchens in the UK including The Savoy, Claridge’s and Michelin-starred restaurant La Trompette under Bruce Poole.

Michelle honed her head chef skills in the Hospitality and Fine Dining department at a global management consulting firm, and has also catered for an impressive roster of royalty, politicians, industry leaders, culture and fashion icons including film directors.

Trusselle comments: “I am delighted to be working with the amazing team at the prestigious 30 Euston Square.

"After joining during the busy Christmas period, I’m looking forward to tapping into my creativity to create and develop innovative menus for 2022, combining my own authentic cooking style with 30 Euston Square’s long-standing British heritage and ethos.

"My cooking is influenced by what produce is available throughout the year and will be utilising the best of seasonal ingredients across all the menus throughout the venue.”

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, 30 Euston Square is a seven-floor conference, meeting and events venue in the heart of central London.

Home to the Royal College of General Practitioners, operated by Searcys, the venue offers a wide choice of versatile event spaces, bedrooms, auditorium and rooftop terrace which can cater for a wide range of corporate and social events.
