Crockers Henley to launch in Henley-on-Thames this Spring

Two Chef’s Tables, The Bar & Grill and The Quarters: Seven Beautifully Appointed Rooms.

On 20th April, Crockers Henley will open its doors in one of the UK’s most sought after riverside locations: Henley-on-Thames. With a unique offering comprising two 16-seat Chef’s Tables (The Thames Table and The Gardiner Table), the Bar & Grill and elegant overnight accommodation. Crockers Henley builds on the success of its sibling, Crockers Tring, which launched in Spring 2018. Both projects are the brainchild of former chef, CEO Luke Garnsworthy.

Each Chef’s Table will present its own relaxed fine-dining offering. The Thames Table overseen by Head Chef Dean Westcar, will serve a seasonal, modern British tasting menu, whilst The Gardener Table, led by Head Chef Iain Dixon, will see a Pan-Asian tasting experience take centre-stage. Both will present a 7-course lunch (£45) and 12-course dinner (from £90), incorporating the very best produce matched with the each chef’s individual talents. Diners will be seated at a bespoke table which overlooks the respective dedicated Chef’s Table kitchen, making for an unmatched interactive experience.

The Grill will provide a more relaxed drinking and dining destination and will offer all day dining as well as brunch at the weekends. Led by Head Chef Tom Westerland, The Grill will offer an unrivalled range of steaks, fish and shellfish roasted over a custom-built charcoal grill, while the bar, overseen by Head Mixologist Ryan Osnowski, will serve both a classic and more contemporary range of cocktails. Head of Wine, Gemma Aldridge will be working with several importers and wineries to offer guests an eclectic and ever-changing selection of wines from around the globe, including a range of paired wine options when at the Chef’s Tables.

Chief Executive, Luke Garnsworthy, commented: “We’re incredibly excited about our new home in Henley-on-Thames! After working on this project for more than a year with Ian Churchill (Operations Director), that excitement is reaching fever-pitch as we near our launch date. We couldn’t wish for a more beautiful location in such a wonderful town. The senior team we have put in place is truly a dream come true, and I can’t wait to open our doors to the people of Henley - they’re in for a treat”

The Quarters will offer high quality accommodation based around a small estate of seven double bedrooms, each reflecting the Georgian heritage of the building, complemented by elegant furnishings. The rooms are equipped with super king beds, roll-top baths and statement lighting pieces, providing the ultimate in comfort and exuding a sense of understated luxury. Guests staying overnight will be treated to a three-course breakfast the following morning served in the exclusive surroundings of one of the Chef’s Tables.

The transformation of the Grade II listed building situated on Henley’s bustling Market Place is the work of Ali Hearn Interiors. The renovations have been considered - exposed brick and woodwork has been restored and accented with contemporary fixtures and fittings.

One-night stay includes dinner at one of the two Chefs Tables, three-course breakfast, two glasses of English sparkling wine on arrival. Priced from £370 for two.

Crockers Henley is now open for restaurant and room bookings, to enquire further or make a reservation please visit www.crockershenley.co.uk or email [email protected]. Chef’s Table reservations are essential.
