Coup de Pates & Delice de France Launch Extended Festive Offer Enabling Caterers to Profit into the New Year

Coup de Pates, the new name for Delice de France, has introduced a new Winter/Christmas brochure including a raft of exclusive seasonal products to help caterers tackle the festive flurry and profit into the New Year.

The hand-picked selection – available until January 17th 2015 – contains plenty of mouth-watering winter options alongside some exclusive new lines. From chocolate and raspberries, to warm spices and mincemeat, turkey and cranberry to almonds and hazelnuts, the flavours of the season are covered off in spectacular style.

Lines include: delicate, new Mini Christmas Macaroons; a seasonal Cranberry Twist – a soft butter pastry filled with a smooth vanilla custard and cranberries, twisted to form a torsade; flowerpot muffins in Winter Spiced, Gingerbread and Treacle, and Chocolate and Orange flavours; mince pies, large pre-portioned cakes, winter breads, seasonal savouries and individual desserts featuring the all-new Christmas Pudding with a Brandy Sauce centre.

Mariam French, Head of Marketing, UK, Coup de Pates, says: “The uplift in sales that the festive season presents can be make or break for many businesses, so it’s imperative to get it right. Our Winter/Christmas selection has been lovingly developed by our in-house chefs, using the finest ingredients, to help attract custom and profit in the process. Christmas is the time when quality frozen products really come into their own, especially when catering for large numbers, where consistency and wastage must be safeguarded. The range will help steer caterers safely into a happy New Year.”

Visitors to the website www.delicedefrance.co.uk can also glean inspiration from three completely new seasonal desserts – created by the dedicated Coup de Pates Chefs – using three of the company’s semi-prepared range.

The Christmas spiced Mandarin and tarte Brûlée will compliment any dessert menu, while delightful chocolate pots can be served as an individual dessert, or as an assiette à dessert.

Finally, the Mocha Cloud – a rich chocolate espresso mousse, topped with a light vanilla cream and served in a champagne glass – will add that touch of decadence to any evening.
The inspirational desserts use the company’s Ready-to-Use Crème Brûlée, Chocolate Ganache, and Sweet Tartelette Case, respectively, as the perfect base to create versatile desserts that will get diners talking and menus working harder.

Coup de Pates (‘Koo de Pat’) is the new name for Delice de France. A principal supplier in France for almost a quarter of a century, with a reputation for unmatched quality, and innovation, Coup de Pates has traditionally been positioned as a specialist sister brand to Delice de France. The two have now merged and will be rebranding as Coup de Pates, resulting in even more exclusive products being made available to UK chefs alongside the existing Delice de France range – a process which has already begun with the unveiling last month of a brand new Autumn/Winter 2014-15 catalogue.

The Coup de Pates brand is owned by the world’s third largest bakery group, Aryzta.
