Marceline, a French brasserie in Canary Wharf, will host its first-ever ‘Top of the Croques’ competition in support of The Felix Project.

For one night only on March 31, top chefs from across the UK will cook and serve their unique takes on Marceline’s signature croque monsieur to a panel of industry experts, competing for the title of ‘Top of the Croques'.

The event kicks off at 6pm and will feature a stellar lineup of competitors, including James Cochran, Ruben Dawney, Nirmal Save, Ana Da Costa, and Freddie Janssen.

Each chef will present their creative interpretation of the classic French dish alongside Marceline’s head chef, Davide Toro, who will compete with his classic Marceline edition, with Parisian ham and Gruyère cheese.

A panel of judges will crown the night's winner, and the winning ‘Croque’ will be featured on Marceline’s menu for the month of April, with a percentage of the proceeds donated to The Felix Project.

The panel includes chef and Great British Menu host Andi Oliver; Max Halley of Max’s Sandwich Shop; Financial Times HTSI’s food columnist, Ajesh Patalay; The Telegraph's Senior Feature Writer, Ed Cumming; Deputy Editor of Foodism, Molly Codyre; and hosts of the Club Sandwich podcast, Henry Southan and Jordan Sangha.

Tickets for the event are priced at £30 per person and include three drinks and a sample of each croque, with £5 per ticket donated to The Felix Project.
