Who is chef Samuel McClurkin, MasterChef: The Professionals 2021 quarter-finalist
Introducing Samuel McClurkin, one of 32 chefs taking part in MasterChef: The Professionals 2021, airing on BBC One every Monday, Thursday and Friday from November 8th through to December 24th.
Samuel is currently the head chef at the two-AA rosette restaurant The Dog At Wingham in Canterbury, where he has been working at since 2017. Originally from Ramsgate, the 24-year-old chef won the Great British Pub Awards: Best Young Pub Chef in 2021.
Before working at The Dog at Wingham, Samuel cooked for the Royal family at Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace, according to Kent Live.
Samuel impressed the judges in his skills test and signature challenging, meaning that he will go before the critics on Friday, 3rd December 2021 in the quarter-finals.
