The MasterChef: The Professionals Rematch Special will be broadcast BBC One and iPlayer and will see four chefs from past series return to show how far their food and careers have progressed.
The judges
Judges Michelin-starred chef Marcus Wareing and award-winning chef and restaurateur Monica Galetti, joined by MasterChef judge Gregg Wallace, promising a line-up of challenges for the competitors to prove themselves once again.
The Chefs
Competing this year is chef Jamie Park, who was a finalist in the 2017 season, as well as Philli Armitage-mattin, Santosh Shah, and Bart van der Lee, who were all finalists in the 2020 seasons.
What to expect from this special?
Four chefs from past series will return to show how far their food and careers have progressed by facing two demanding challenges set by the MasterChef judges.
Cooking for restaurant critics Grace Dent, Jimi Famurewa and Jay Rayner, the chefs will each deliver a main course and a dessert in the first round, followed by a festive feast which they will have two hours to prepare.
