Winter at Il Salviatino: Historic Florentine Villa Launches Sunday Brunch Experience

Il Salviatino is a breathtaking, family-owned Tuscan retreat situated on the hillside overlooking Florence, and the infamous Duomo. Just moments away from the bustling city centre and infamous sites including the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Galleries, the property fuses Florentine history with art, nature, award-winning cuisine and wellness, creating a home-away-from-home for guests of all ages.

As the festive season draws near, Florence offers the perfect winter escape with Il Salviatino unveiling a new Sunday Brunch at the property’s award-winning in-house restaurant, Giacomo al Salviatino, sister restaurant to the legendary Giacomo Milano. The award-winning restaurant offers authentic Italian dishes, using on-site grown produce and locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

The new Sunday Brunch, running from 10th November until 12th January, transforms the hotel’s lounges into a festive banquet. Each weekend features special activities, from flower arrangements to children’s crafts and wine tastings, complemented by access to the new state-of-the-art Aquae Vitali spa. Guests can expect traditional classics including lasagne and quiche, seasonal salads and vegetables, a variety of meats, tartare, caviar and oysters and eggs served multiple ways.

Curated by owner and creative director Alessandra Rovati Vitali, the 15th Century villa houses 39 individually designed rooms and suites, each personally partnering beautiful design with contemporary comforts, whilst embracing the classic history of a bygone era and allowing for an exquisite sense of place. The new state-of-the-art Aquae Vitali spa offers guests a range of treatments to restore every aspect of the mind and body. Advanced facials combine the award-winning skincare developed by Professor Augustinus Bader for optimised results tailored to every skin need. Alongside these relaxing and invigorating treatments, guests can enjoy an infrared sauna, hammam and three outdoor cascading infinity swimming pools that are heated throughout the year. The hotel also offers diverse experiences including hot air balloon rides, cycling tours, yoga, cooking classes, Negroni masterclasses and hourly shuttle bus services in Florence’s lively city centre.
