- 500g Farmstead Minced Beef Standard 85vl - British
- 300g Bb Cooking Onion 60-80mm
- 20g Bb Garlic Prepacked
- 500g Maris Piper Potatoes
- 100g Everyday Favourites Economy Peas 2.5kg
- 100g Bb Carrots Hydro-cool
- 700ml Everyday Favourites Beef Bouillon Paste
- 500ml Tomato Juice Re-seal
- 400g Napolina Chopped Tomatoes
- 12ml Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce (glass)
- 10g Bb Parsley Flat
Ingredients
Method
1. Add the mince to a hot pan (no need for oil) and brown off, then drain the fat.
2. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes.
3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, tomato juice, peas, carrots, potato, stock and Worcestershire sauce.
4. Season, bring to the boil and simmer for 25-30 minutes.
5. Add the parsley, check the seasoning and serve.
Chef's tip: if you want to spice this soup up, simply add some chilli flakes when the onion goes in.
