The Staff canteen is celebrating! We’ve now got over a 100,000 followers on Instagram and as a reward to all of our amazing page fans we have called in a few favours from some of the top chefs in the UK.
Today we have a tasting menu for two with matching wines at The Elephant in Torquay, Devon from Michelin-starred chef proprietor Simon Hulstone.

The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which overlooks the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today and it has held three AA rosettes since 2005 and in 2006.
It aims to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from their dedicated farm in Brixham.
Run by Simon and his wife Katy. Food is cooked by a talented team of chefs and served by friendly, professional team of staff. The restaurant serves a full à la carte menu as well as tasting menu of freshly prepared dishes, showcasing the best of what the South West and Southdown Farm has to offer.
Simon has worked with some of Britain’s most respected chefs including his father Roger, who have all played an important part in his career and achievements. His chef mentors and experience in top competitions have given Simon a passion for great ingredients and a finesse for taste and presentation which continues to win praise from critics and customers alike.
