Vivek Singh in next Ember Yard takeover

After the previous successful takeovers from Honey and Co’s Stephen Terry and Maria Elia earlier this year, Salt Yard Group’s Ember Yard takeover is back but this time with renowned chef Vivek Singh. Taking place on 28th September Vivek, who specialises in modern Indian cuisine, will be taking over the grill and serving a selection of tapas-sized dishes chosen to suit the Ember Yard style of cooking over charcoal and wood.

  • Kerala spiced sea bream in banana leaf, coconut chutney, lemon rice
  • Tandoori spiced grilled chicken thighs, Rajasthani corn sauce and chargrilled aubergine with sesame tamarind glaze
  • Peanut crumble, garlic & ginger and lime raita.
Executive chef of three restaurants across London (The Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Kitchen and Cinnamon Soho), author of five cookbooks and a regular face on both television and live cookery events across the country, Vivek Singh is one of the most inspiring Indian chefs of his generation. Ember Yard is the fourth restaurant from Salt Yard Group and takes inspiration from Spanish and Italian methods of cooking over charcoal.
