Spice Market London introduces a unique Asian-inspired brunch menu

The Staff Canteen
Spice Market London is to launch a new brunch menu created by executive chef Peter Lloyd later this month. Inspired by flavours and variety from South-East Asian cuisines, Spice Market will offer a selection of unique and distinctive brunch dishes, home-made sodas and cocktails. The menu will feature a wide mix of dishes, ranging from pork belly eggs Benedict with green chilli and yuzu hollandaise or Devonshire crab and egg scramble with smoked paprika to Champagne mango parfait with lemongrass yogurt and house made granola or Pandan waffle with coconut cream and salted caramel. As well as Asian inspired dishes, some British classics will also get a new twist with traditional Sunday roasts becoming Aged rib eye steak with black pepper condiment and ginger fried egg or Misoyaki roasted baby chicken with Shoyu onion sauce. Included in the cocktails will be ingredients such as ginger-pear shrub, rosemary, fresh chilli, thyme and Aveze gentian liquer. The Spice Market is located in the W London Leicester Square hotel and is a restaurant designed by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The interiors of the restaurant strikes the balance between the authentic old world feel in its sister establishment in New York, and the contemporary style of the new building in London. Set over two floors, Spice Market also hosts a cocktail lounge and private room which can accommodate 40 covers. The new brunch menu will be available on Sundays between 12-3.30pm, starting on 24 November and seats can be booked by calling 0207 758 1088 or via their website.
