Paul Hood departs from Jason Atherton's The Social Company
Award-winning Chef Paul Hood has announced he will be leaving Jason Atherton’s The Social Company to take up a new position outside of the group.
Announcing his upcoming departure on his Instagram account Paul, who’s spent 17 years working with Jason Atherton and 12 years working across the Michelin-starred Pollen Street Social and Social Eating House, explained that he would be leaving the group to start a new position that he would announce in the future.
Commenting on his departure, Paul said: "End of an era! 12 years working at the Social Eating House and Pollen Street Social, and 17 years with Jason Atherton… two months ago it was time to relocate to the Cotswolds and start new.”
Thanking Jason, Paul said: “Thank you Jason, for everything we have been through together. Best of luck to the new team Alex Parker and Jack Godik, happy to pass it over to you guys.”
Replacing Paul at Soho’s Social Eating House will be Alex Parker, who formerly held positions at Claude Bosi’s two Michelin-starred Bibendum, two Michelin-starred Hibiscus, one Michelin-starred City Social; and Jack Godik, the current Head Chef of Social Eating House.
Before working for Jason’s The Social Company, Paul held positions within the Gordon Ramsay Restaurants group, and at The Glasshouse restaurant in Kew.
