Paul and Valda Goodfellow resign from their role with Continental Chef Supplies.
The Staff Canteen understands that Paul and Valda Goodfellow have terminated their contracts with Bunzil PLC and will both leave the company shortly.
CCS, one of the market leaders in Chef supplies, formed by Goodfellow 22-years ago, was sold to Bunzil almost three years ago during which time Paul and Valda have continued to grow the £7-million business, operating under the CCS brand.
The Staff Canteen understands that both Paul and Valda are unable to continue in their roles and their positions have become untenable. The Staff Canteen understands that CCS who focus on relationships with the clients are concerned about a number of operational issues including what our source describes as a "Super Market" style approach to suppliers and clients alike.
