Michelin starred chef, Adam Simmonds to Guest Chef at The Bath Priory

The Staff Canteen

The Bath Priory has announced that Michelin-starred chef Adam Simmonds will head up its kitchens for three months as a guest chef this autumn.

Adam will take up residency at The Bath Priory until the end of December 2016. Adam said: “I’m delighted to be spending time at The Bath Priory and in the beautiful city of Bath, and look forward to welcoming our guests.  Dining out should be an experience which engages all of your senses.

"You eat with your eyes first, then the aroma and burst of flavours hit you.  But as a diner your experience is enveloped in the ambiance and service, and I look forward to working with the team at The Bath Priory to deliver all components to serve memorable meals during my time as guest chef”.

Menus created by Adam and The Bath Priory team include a three course lunch menu (£30 Monday-Saturday, or £35 on Sundays), a three course a la carte menu (£80, lunch and dinner daily) or seven course tasting menus (£95, served daily at lunch and dinner).

Adam won his first Michelin star at Yynshir Hall in Wales in 2006 and his second at ‘Adam Simmonds at Danesfield House’ in 2010.  Known for dishes which are delicate and fresh, but intensely flavoured, Adam appeared on the 2013 and 2014 series of the Great British Menu, and has also worked alongside Marco Pierre White, Raymond Blanc and Paul Heathcote during his career.
