Tim Allen chefMichelin-starred London restaurant Launceston Place is launching a new lunch-time tasting menu in January. The menu, called the 404 menu, features four courses, amuse bouche, pre-dessert and petit fours, offering a gastronomic journey through executive chef Tim Allen’s style of seasonally-inspired British cooking. Before this he also worked in the kitchens at renowned restaurants The Landmark and L’Ortolan with John Burton Race.Launceston Place - Quail Legs It begins with a pre-starter of Parmesan with onion and ceps, before beginning with a course of quail with cauliflower, morteau sausage and grapes. After the savoury dishes comes a pre-dessert of orange with ginger and buttermilk before a serving of Grand Cru chocolate with pear and grue. Petit fours are finally offered to finish the meal.
