The Abingdon Food and Drink Festival is held at the Miele Centre in Abingdon and the festival organisers have been able to combine a relaxed village fete atmosphere with stalls located around a large green space along with the use of Miele’s state of the art demonstration facilities.
2014 was the first year and it was a great success. They had over 1,000 paying visitors, nearly 40 stalls and a number of local chefs providing demonstrations. They are looking to make the 2015 event even bigger and better with a wider range of food stalls and more demonstration events! They also have provision for using one of the Miele warehouses in case the weather turns out to be typically British.
