Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi has confirmed the date he and his wife Lucy will launch their second Josephine restaurant in the heart of Marylebone.

Building on the success of Josephine Chelsea, a tribute to the bouchons of Lyon, this new chapter continues the Bosis’ devotion to French gastronomy, from Thursday, April 24.

Claude also runs two-Michelin-starred restaurants Bibendum and Brooklands, both in London.

At Josephine Marylebone, from breakfast to dinner, guests can revel in an exquisite selection of French classics, choose items from a dedicated oyster kiosk, or dine from the fixed-price ‘Menu Duval’.

There will also be a 16-seater al fresco dining area.

Josephine Marylebone will showcase the soul of French cooking with a menu that draws from the grand brasseries of Paris.

Starters include soufflé au camembert; the counterpart to Chelsea’s soufflé version, and escargots à l'ail. The menu boasts an abundance of fruits de mer, including freshly shucked oysters, Homard mayonnaise, langoustines, and crevettes roses.

Pâté en croûte and steak tartare highlight authentic techniques that honour French tradition. Mains of filet de bœuf and poulet aux Morilles are served with indulgent sauces, and a cordon bleu is coated in perfectly crisp golden breadcrumbs. All dishes are complemented by a dedicated pommes de terre menu - celebrating potatoes in all their glory - from a silky pomme purée and frites to a gratin dauphinois.

Desserts include rhum baba, soufflé glacé au Grand Marnier and exquisite French pâtisserie.

The wine list showcases France’s finest regions, from Bordeaux and the Loire Valley to Burgundy, Jura, and Savoie, blending legendary labels with hidden gems.

Vintage Champagnes evoke the Belle Époque era, while house wines are served by the ‘meter rule'.

To finish, a selection of sweet wines and digestifs offers the perfect final indulgence.

Adding breakfast to the repertoire, Josephine captures the essence of Parisian café culture - from a quick espresso to a relaxed breakfast on a sunlit table.

The interiors are designed by Fabled Studio, inspired by Parisian bistros.

Co-founders Lucy and Claude Bosi said: “With Josephine Chelsea, we had the pleasure of getting to know the locals while celebrating the rich, comforting flavours of Lyon.

“Now, with Josephine Marylebone, we hope to do the same. Our vision is to create a space that exudes warmth and conviviality, where every detail - from the menu to the ambiance - reflects our appreciation for authentic French hospitality."
