1 Michelin Star Chefs: Jonathon Howe, Chef Patron, Lumiere
Jonathon Howe is Chef Patron of Lumiere, Cheltenham.
Jonathon Howe
Fuelled by an insatiable appetite for culinary excellence, Jonathon sought tutelage under some of the most illustrious figures in the industry.
The guidance of culinary luminaries such as John Campbell and Stuart Mcleod helped shape his formidable skills and ignite his passion for pushing the boundaries of taste and technique.
However, it was under the mentorship of the legendary three Michelin-starred chef, Heston Blumenthal, that Jonathon truly honed his craft, absorbing invaluable knowledge and immersing himself in the art of gastronomy at its highest level.
Driven by a relentless desire to forge his own path, Jon seized the opportunity to establish his culinary empire by opening Lumiere.
This venture not only marked the inception of his own culinary vision but also granted him the liberating role of being his own boss. Embracing this newfound autonomy, Jonathon revels in the freedom to craft his own menus, infusing each dish with his unique touches and artistic flair.
On 27 March 2023, Lumiere was awarded 1 Michelin Star.
