Michelin Italia 2015 has been released with two new restaurants receiving a two-star rating and 27 new restaurants included in the guide with one-star.

The Piccolo Principe restaurant in Viareggio has picked up a second star under the guidance of Guiseppe Mancino after winning its first star in November 2008. The Tavernia Estia in Brusciano is the other new entry with a second star this year as both restaurants join 39 others in the guide's two-star category.

Italy now has 332 restaurants awarded in the Michelin guide with 285 one-stars, 39 two-stars and eight restaurants with Michelin’s highest accolade of three-stars.
