Two-Michelin-starred La Dame de Pic in London set to close

Two-Michelin-starred La Dame de Pic in London is set to close its doors later this month.

Run day-to-day by chef de cuisine Evens López, La Dame de Pic, situated in Four Seasons Hotel, launched in 2017 and won its first Michelin star the following year.

It was then upgraded to two stars in 2020, when Luca Piscazzi was head chef. It has retained the two stars ever since.

A joint statement by Groupe Pic and Four Seasons Hotel confirmed renowned French chef Anne-Sophie Pic’s first UK venture is to come to an end.

The statement in full read: "After over eight years of culinary excellence together, Groupe Pic and Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge have made the decision to conclude their partnership. We are incredibly proud of the two-Michelin-star dining experience we created at La Dame de Pic, delivering exceptional dining and unforgettable moments to all.

"We extend our deepest gratitude to our loyal guests, dedicated team, and industry partners who have supported us throughout this journey. It has been a fantastic and unforgettable chapter.

"As we approach our final day of service on February 15, 2025, we look forward to celebrating La Dame de Pic London and welcoming our esteemed guests for a final dining experience. Both parties remain committed to working closely to ensure a seamless transition and wish each other continued success in future endeavours."

La Dame de Pic in London, near Tower Bridge, produces high-end French cuisine, combining classical cooking with British ingredients.

Peru-born chef Evens studied under three-Michelin-starred Yannick Alléno, before joining The Clove Club and then linking up with Anne-Sophie to take over at La Dame de Pic in 2022.

Discussing La Dame de Pic's imminent closure, Evens told The Staff Canteen: "It's been a lovely three years with La Dame de Pic and working alongside Anne-Sophie. I'm going to take a little bit of time now to evaluate what is next for me.

"I came from The Clove Club, where I was with Isaac (McHale), when we achieved the second star and then after that I was with Anne-Sophie, who proposed for me to take over the restaurant.

"Three years, it was a lovely time and we made many people happy."

Anne-Sophie’s flagship Maison Pic restaurant in France holds the coveted three Michelin stars.

She also runs Michelin-starred restaurants in Switzerland and Singapore.
