Tripadvisor awards The Black Swan best restaurant in the UK and 4th best in the world

Tommy Banks' Michelin-starred restaurant with rooms, The Black Swan, is number one in the UK in the Tripadvisor Fine Dining category.

It was also awarded 4th place in the world, accompanied by only two other UK restaurants in the list of 25, The Fat Duck and L’Enclume.

Tommy said: "We're thrilled to be named the best fine dining restaurant in the UK, and number four in the world. We work so hard to provide our customers with the best possible dining experience, and it's always such an honour to be recognised for it. We're now gearing up to re-open again on 12 August, and we really can't wait to welcome back our wonderful guests."

The results were based on a full year of Tripadvisor reviews, prior to any changes caused by the pandemic.

In 2017 The Black Swan was also named the world’s best rated restaurant, by the annual TripAdvisor Awards.
