Online restaurant reservations site, Bookatable, will be donating all of its proceeds for bookings made on Red Nose Day, March 13, in support of Comic Relief 2015.

The site has partnered with a number of award winning chefs across the country including Phil Howard, The Square, Patrick Leano, Arbutus, Stefano Francioso, Stef’s Italian, Fitzrovia and Michelin-starred chef Richard Phillips, Thackeray's Restaurant, Kent, to show their support of Red Nose Day by encouraging them to cast their inhibitions aside, wear a red nose and put on a funny face to help promote the campaign and raise money

Joe Steele, CEO of Bookatable said: “It is an honour to work alongside our restaurant-partners and chefs to help raise a smile and some much needed funds to improve conditions and create lasting change for those who need it most.”

All of the money raised through proceeds will go towards aid and relief to help transform the lives of those living in poverty in the UK and Africa. The 27 year-old campaign has helped to protect six million people from malaria in Africa and has established life changing campaigns here in the UK.

Anthony Demetre, chef proprietor of Arbutus and Wild Honey is also taking part in the campaign. He said: “I’m pleased to be a part of such an amazing campaign to support Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.”

He added: “It’s great to be working alongside Bookatable and my peers in the restaurant industry this year to raise money and awareness for such a brilliant cause.”
