Top chefs to perform live demonstrations at Goodwood Festival

The Goodwood festival of motoring is the largest event of its kind, a motoring garden party. Held in partnership with the AA, the event will feature various motoring events, as well as a series of live cookery demonstrations from some of the UK’s top chefs, who hold 15 AA rosettes between them.

The chefs will be showing off their skills at three demonstrations throughout the day on the AA Stand. The chefs to be featured are:

Daniel Galmiche Daniel is the former head chef of Michellin star restaurant L'Ortolan, formerly hailed as one of the “chefs tables”  in the country by the Daily Telegraph. Daniel currently works at The Vineyard in Berkshire. The French veteran chef is known for his “modern, light, and colourful but very tasty cooking”.

Mark Jordan Mark is the head chef of one of the two Michelin-starred establishments in Jersey, The Atlantic Hotel. He also holds a bib gourmand, and four AA Rosettes. Mark has also appeared on the BBC’s Saturday kitchen.You can view our interview with Mark here.

Adam Handling Masterchef finalist Adam is the current head chef at the Claxton grill at St. Ermin’s Hotel in London. This year the 25 year old was awarded the title of the British Culinary Fedaration’s “Chef of the year”. This is not his first culinary award, as he won “Scottish Young Chef of the Year” back in 2011.

Andrew McLeish Nottingham born Andrew McLeish is the chef patron of Chapter One, Kent. He is known for his love of hunting, and has the ability to not only start a great meal from scratch, but shoot the game himself. Most of the meat on his menu at Chapter One is hunted and butchered by Andrew himself.

The festival will be held in the grounds of Goodwood house, West Sussex. This will be the festivals 21st year of operation, and the event will begin on Thursday 26th of June, ending on Sunday the 29th
