Tom Kerridge pub raising money for charity with 'Paddy McGuinness burger'
Tom Kerridge’s pub The Butcher’s Tap and Grill has added a number of specials to the menu this autumn, including the Paddy McGuinness burger.
Located in Chelsea, The Butcher’s has collaborated with renowned comedian and television presenter Paddy McGuinness for the burger, which sees a brioche bun piled high with a beef patty, maple cured bacon, caramelised Lyonnaise onions, double Swiss cheese and vodka ketchup. That comes with a boat of Guinness gravy.
In support of the National Autistic Society, £1 from each burger sold will be donated to the charity, supporting children with autism.
Also being added to the menu is a beef wellington, designed for two to share and served with mashed potatoes, green beans and red wine sauce for £95.
Head chef Ian Lovett will also be producing a classic Sunday lunch, served inside a Yorkshire pudding.
Tom Kerridge said: “There’s no better place to spend autumn than at The Butcher’s Tap and Grill Chelsea, it’s the perfect spot to get cosy with friends and family and enjoy a good, hearty meal.
“The Sunday lunch is a classic British tradition and the introduction of our beef wellington has allowed us to elevate the experience.
“Working with my good friend Paddy on the ‘Paddy McGuinness’ burger has also been a lot of fun, and we can’t wait for Chelsea to get their hands on it this October!”
