The Staff Canteen member of the year 2012

We are delighted to announce the winner of The Staff Canteen member of the year 2012 is ...

Congratulations to Steve Bennett @chefbennett01.  This is now the second year in a row and perhaps a need for us to handicap him to give others a fighting chance!!! Chefbennett01 accumulated a whooping 12120 of Kudos fighting off (though not literary) second place johnbartonchef (John Barton), with 7377 kudos points and stig35 (Daniel Watkins) in third place with 5112.

The member of the year is awarded from activity of users in relation to content that they have added over the year, and Steve has managed to share with us a number of his dining experiences from the UK and abroad, plus as a regular contributor to the forum, Steve has been able again to see off his competition.

The coveted shield will be engraved and presented to Steve shortly plus he will be dining with us at a swanky restaurant in the not too distant future (though we will turn off his phone to give others a chance). Second place will receive £100.00 of Amazon Vouchers with third place getting £50.00 of Amazon vouchers.

On a personal note, sorry this has taken us a while to get this information out, not an excuse, but with the launch of the APP, plus other site developments on-going, our business virtually doubling in 6-months, we have had to re-structure and source key people in order for us to move forward.

Please be assured that our focus will once again be back firmly on you, the members and chefs, and watch this space for a very exciting second quarter of 2013.
