The Staff Canteen team are very excited to announce that our monthly LIVE Networking Lunches are back.

Our first venue is Etch. in Brighton with chef owner Steven Edwards, former MasterChef: The Professionals winner. We’ll of course be abiding by social distancing measures, but we aim to give our guests the same brilliant experience as they have always had.

Sponsored by Koppert Cress, Gusbourne and Diversey/Zenith Hygiene the event will take place on September 16.

Founder of  The Staff Canteen, Mark Morris, said: "This has been the toughest period I have ever seen in hospitality for as long as I can remember, so we are really excited to be restarting our hugely successful networking lunch series. Etch and Steve were booked in to host an event before COVID-19, so we are delighted to kick off with him and the team in Brighton."

He added: "Hospitality is all about bringing people together, we are doing this with social distancing measures but are confident we can ensure that chefs and our partners get to know each other’s businesses much better and begin to build those valuable relationships."

As always we have 15 spaces available for chefs across all sectors of the industry – if you are head chef or above email aimee@thestaffcanteen.com to register your interest or fill in our survey: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/L37PXCY

The lunch includes arrival drinks and a tasting menu with paired wines plus the chance to network with our sponsors and chefs.

On hosting our first event post lockdown, Steven said: “I am really excited to be hosting the first staff canteen networking lunch post lockdown, It will be a great opportunity to network and enjoy my food as restaurants begin to re-open. All safety precautions have been taken to ensure the risk of Covid-19 has been reduced so that guests and the etch. team can enjoy the day.”

COVID-19 statement: The Staff Canteen will work closely with each venue to make sure that our Networking Lunches are in line with the latest social distancing measures and Covid-19 guidance published by the UK government. At the events we will be adhering to all the current COVID-19 social distancing guidelines to ensure everybody has an enjoyable and safe experience.

Please note: You should NOT attend our TSCLive Networking lunch if you or anyone in your household are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. A full list of symptoms can be found on the NHS website.
