August 31st and September 1st will see Jamie Oliver & Alex James return with The Big Feastival, the UK’s favourite music and food festival for all the family, proudly supported by Electrolux.

The Big Feastival will feature an incredible selection of the UK’s finest food producers and a stellar bill of the nation’s top chefs. Over in the Electrolux Big Kitchen, Jamie’s mentor and Italian legend Gennaro Contaldo, culinary maestro Bruno Loubet, star of TV’s ‘The Little Paris Kitchen’ Rachel Khoo, top British chef Valentine Warner, Supper Club sensation Sabrina Ghayour and talented foodie Gizzi Erskine, will all take to the stage to cook up a storm alongside the man himself, Jamie Oliver.  Scotland’s youngest Michelin-starred chef Tom Kitchin, former Roux Scholar and Bocuse d’Or entrant Simon Hulstone and young guns Jonray and Peter Sanchez Iglesias from Bristol’s boundary-pushing Casamia restaurant will also be cooking up a storm at the festival.

Providing the soundtrack to the Saturday will be Lianne La Havas, Rizzle Kicks and legendary dance duo Basement Jaxx. While on Sunday, Take That’s Mark Owen is set to perform alongside KT Tunstall and The Feeling. Other performances will include Bernhoft, Dodgy, Norman Jay, Cuban Brothers, Laurence Fox and The Milk.

In between watching the experts in action, visitors can delve to new depths of culinary delight down ‘Street Food Alley’, tucking into an exciting menu of dishes featuring the best of the British street food scene. Highlights include Asian steamed buns from double award winning Yum Bun, mouthwatering meatballs from The Bowler and Napoli inspired street food from Pizza Pilgrims.

It’s not just about tasting great food, festival goers can get stuck in with a whole host of hands-on foodie features including the Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets Cooking Classes, the Weber BBQ Experience, The Table Sessions and of course, the return of Alex James’s very own Cheese Hub. What’s more, they can shop till they drop from an award winning selection of artisan producers and boutique brands.
