Taillevent Paris, the family owned group behind two Michelin-starred restaurant Le Taillevent, have opened their first London based restaurant, Les 110 de Taillevent, in Cavendish Square.

Headed by general manager Giuseppe Dewilde, the 70 cover wine and food matching brasserie will offer seasonal French dishes to pair with a selection of over 100 rare and singular wines, curated by Pierre Bérot, Director of the Wine Department for Taillevent Paris.

Les 110 de Taillevent offers an all-day dining experience, and will even match breakfast foods with hot and cold drinks. In the early evening, a Wine Time menu serves up small plates of food such as tempura of vegetables with piquillo ketchup and paté en croûte alongside carefully chosen wines.

The à la carte menu, originally developed by executive chef of Le Taillevent, Alain Solivérès together with executive chef of Les 110 de Taillevent Paris, Emile Cotte, has been interpreted and replicated by London chef, Robert Panek, in order to showcase the best French seasonal dishes, each dish designed to enhance the flavour within the wide selection of quality wine.

The restaurant aims to give the French art-de-vivre, ‘way of living’, to London’s diners. Each guest will be offered four wines specifically matched with their choice of starter, fish, meat and dessert or cheese.

To start the meal, Les 110 de Taillevent offer dishes such as pumpkin, velvety chestnut and hazelnut flakes and crab remoulade with dill and fennel. For the main course, diners have the option of fish or meat, including dishes such as seabass with lemon olive oil dressing, sirloin with marrow bone and pepper sauce and also a saddle of lamb roasted with pickled garlic and rosemary.

Desserts can be chosen from a select menu, offering a selection of chocolate mousse, riz au lait, crème caramel and île flottante.

Breakfast will be served from 7:30am – 10:30am, lunch between 11:30am – 2:20pm, Wine Time offers a light snack experience from 3:30pm – 7:00pm at the bar, and those looking for the full à la carte experience can order from 5:30pm -10:30pm.
