The Staff Canteen joins Food On The Edge 2016 as the event's exclusive Trade Media Partner
Last year saw the launch of Food On The Edge 2016 in Galway with some of the world’s top chefs travelling to Ireland to talk to their peers about the future of food.
This year The Staff Canteen are proud to announce we will be the exclusive trade media partner for the event.
The brain child of JP McMahon, chef patron of Eat at Massimo, Cava Bodega and Michelin-starred Aniar, Food On The Edge is back again this year and for years to come if JP has his way. He said: “It's wonderful to team up with The Staff Canteen as trade media partner. As a platform to build a network for chefs, many of their concerns mirror what Food on the Edge is trying to achieve: better food and a sustainable chef culture that looks to the future. Building a responsible culinary culture is central to both of us.” This year sees Massimo Bottura and Michael O’Hare join the line-up with returning speakers such as Nathan Outlaw and Mark Best also taking to the stage.

Mark Morris, The Staff Canteen director, said: “Food on the Edge is one of the most chef focused events we’ve attended in many years. Having some of the world’s most influential chefs all together in Galway, debating and sharing ideas, is something to celebrate. So, the opportunity for The Staff Canteen to work with JP and his team is something we are very excited about for this year and years to come, as we have no doubt Food on the Edge will continue to grow!”
