Piquet restaurant closes after one year
The French inspired restaurant set up by Allan Pickett and Andre Blais has gone into administration after just one year of opening.
It was announced back in June that head chef, Allan would be taking a step back from the restaurant.
In a statement posted on the website it reads: “The Company has ceased to trade, no further orders will be taken and no further deliveries will be made.
“The joint administrators will contact all creditors and employees of the Company by post which will contain the relevant information creditors and employees will require to make a claim in the administration.
“The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Joint Administrators.”
The restaurant situated in London’s Fitzrovia was set up by chef, Allan Pickett and Canadian born, Andre Blais founder of Bodeans – a chain of BBQ restaurants. The idea behind Piquet was to combine classic French techniques with the best of the great British larder which opened to positive reviews when it launched last September.
