Nobu has announced it is opening a new hotel in the heart of Manchester.

The internationally-renowned restaurant will be making its mark as a hotel and restaurant inside The Residences, Manchester.

The restaurant and hotel chain is famous for its unique fusion of traditional Japanese cuisine with Peruvian ingredients, a style often referred to as "Nobu style." Signature dishes include the Black Cod Miso and Yellowtail Jalapeño.

In a post on social media, it read: “Nobu is coming to Manchester! Introducing Nobu Hotel, Restaurant, and Residences Manchester.

“Rising 76 stories, it will be the tallest tower outside London, bringing Nobu’s signature luxury to the city with a hotel, world-class dining, and the UK’s first Nobu-branded residences—offering an unparalleled urban living experience.”

 The tower, named Viadux 2, will be the tallest building outside of London at 246m.

The first Nobu restaurant opened in New York City in 1994, and the brand has since expanded to numerous locations worldwide, including London, Tokyo, Malibu, and Dubai.

More details on the new hotel and restaurant are yet to be announced.
